You’ll complete 16 subjects totalling 240 credit points, including Big Data in health, the Internet of Medical Things (IoT), virtual models of care, digital health communication, health informatics and more.
You’ll also choose four electives from key technical areas to customise your learning experience to your career goals.
Upon graduation, you’ll receive a Master of Digital Health from La Trobe University Online, and be equipped to influence digital transformation in health and may be eligible for roles like a digital health consultant, healthcare analytics professional, digital health project manager and digital health technopreneur.
If you want to advance your career without pursuing a full degree, a Graduate Certificate in Digital Health is also available. This 60-credit program can be completed in six months full-time.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).
