What You'll Need to Get In

There are no pre-requisite qualifications for entry into this course. However, InterCare Training have processes to ensure this course is aligned to your needs, including but not limited to: an invitation to a detailed information session, a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment, and a Pre-Training Review.

You must also be a minimum of 18 years old to enrol.

Students will also require a computer and internet access as all assessments and resources are online. This includes a camera that must be kept on while attending classes.

Before undertaking work placement, students are required to undertake:

  • A National Police Check
  • A National Working with Children Check
  • An NDIS Worker Check

As well as providing evidence of certain vaccinations, including but not limited to influenza (flu) vaccination and three COVID vaccinations.
